My Story

I’m Lesly Flores, founder of North Star Capital Investments and a multifamily real estate General Partner focused on helping individuals build long-term wealth through purpose-driven investing.

I'm born and raised in Los Angeles, CA rooted in a Latino heritage. Community, service, and giving back have always shaped how I show up in my work and in life. I believe financial freedom is most meaningful when it creates the ability to serve others — not just accumulate wealth.

I graduated from Loyola Marymount University and have spent much of my life as an entrepreneur and creative, pursuing Acting and Dance. The Arts taught me discipline, empathy, and the power of creating connection — values that continue to influence how I lead and build today.

In 2015, I founded Dance2Serve, a community dance program designed to empower youth through dance education and service-based initiatives. The program continues to develop young leaders by combining creative expression with social responsibility. I’ve also had the privilege of serving as a post-graduate volunteer and sponsor with Nuestros Pequeños Hermanos, an organization dedicated to caring for vulnerable children in the Dominican Republic.

Over time, that same desire to serve led me into multifamily real estate. I didn’t see it simply as an investment vehicle, but as a way to create stability, opportunity, and long-term impact — both for investors and for the communities connected to each property.

It represents my belief that wealth, when stewarded intentionally, can support freedom, security, and the ability to give back in meaningful ways. Through multifamily real estate investments, North Star exists to help individuals move steadily toward their own financial North Star, whatever that may look like for them.
